New family style restaurant that will be great for all!  Lots of menu choices at affordable prices and you won’t go away hungry!!

Saturday, August 8, 2009 - Pool Party & Barbecue

 

THE MILLER’S COTTAGE GARDENS

It’s getting warmer so we will be ready for our annual pool party – this time a little different; we will be going to “The Miller’s Cottage”. These luscious gardens are a perfect backdrop for a summer pool party and barbecue. We will be treated royally – we don’t have to lift a finger as the food will be prepared for us – so sit back, relax and enjoy the pool and spectacular surrounding.

 

On the menu: barbecued chicken with salads and all the trimmings, desserts, tea and coffee.  Bring your own refreshment of choice, bathing suit, towel and sunscreen; and be ready for a wonderful time.

Time:         4:00 pm onwards pool party

                  6:00 pm dinner

Friday, August 14, 2009 - Mix & Mingle at Eastside Mario’s

 

After a long work week we’ll sojourn to Eastside Mario’s for some lively conversation, refreshments and finger foods.  Then, if you are not too weary you may want to stay and have your dinner – lots of choices off the menu or suggest a summer fun activity elsewhere.

Saturday, August 22, 2009 - Hamilton Harbour Dance Cruise

 

We will be dancing under the stars aboard ship out in the Hamilton harbour.  Music by a professional DJ.  There is a cash bar on board and bar foods available such as: pizza, sandwiches, chips, etc.  If you don’t want to drive back that night plan ahead to stay overnight.

 

 

Register:    by Wednesday, August 19                

Time:         Ship sails at 9:30 pm; returns at 12:00 midnight

                  Be there by 8:45pm at William Coffee Pub at the Harbour

Saturday/Sunday, August 29/30, 2009 – Overnight Campout

 

A member has graciously offered their place for an overnight campout. Lots of space to enjoy some outdoor activities; so bring your lawn games. Please bring a tent (if you don’t have one, I’m sure someone will share), a sleeping bag, pillow, and flashlight (maybe bug spray).  It will be an organized potluck, with breakfast the next morning. Hope you can attend; its sure to be a lot of fun!

                 upon registration (Port Burwell)

Cost:         Potluck + $5 fee
